AT&T Discovery District
Downtown Dallas · Akard & Jackson Streets
A 104-foot, 9-story outdoor LED media wall in the middle of Downtown Dallas — one of the largest high-resolution outdoor screens in the United States. AT&T already broadcasts major sporting events live on this wall. For World Cup 2026 it's the single best unofficial watch party location in the city: free entry, open-air plaza, surrounded by food and bars, free 5G Wi-Fi, visible from blocks away. This is your first stop.
Best for: Biggest screen · Free · All fans · Outdoor watch party
DAL
🎸
Deep Ellum
East Dallas · ~25 min from AT&T Stadium
Dallas's main nightlife district. 30+ bars and live music venues. Expect outdoor watch parties and block-party energy on big match days. The loudest fan atmosphere in the city. Arrive by rideshare only — parking is not an option on match days. Not ideal for families or early mornings.
Best for: Nightlife · Pub crawls · Late nights · European fans
DAL
🏙
Victory Park
Downtown Dallas · American Airlines Center area
Sports and entertainment district adjacent to the AAC. Multiple bars, restaurants, and open plazas. Harwood Arms (official Chelsea FC/Bayern watch bar) and Hero sports bar (25,000 sq ft, next to AAC) are both here. Well-lit, walkable, DART accessible — the safest and most reliable choice for first-time visitors.
Best for: Soccer bars · Safe for visitors · Groups
DAL
🌮
Uptown / West Village
North of Downtown · Knox-Henderson area
Upscale patio bars and rooftop restaurants. The Londoner (Addison location nearby) is one of the best-reviewed EPL pubs in the US. More laid-back than Deep Ellum. Good for pre-match meals and group stage games when you want a comfortable seat rather than a crush.
Best for: Relaxed viewing · International expat crowd
DAL
🏟
Arlington Entertainment District
Right next to AT&T Stadium
Globe Life Field (Rangers), AT&T Stadium, and surrounding restaurants. On match days the whole area activates as a fan zone. Walk to kickoff from here. Best if you have tickets and want pre/post-match drinks without getting in a car.
Best for: Match day · Stadium proximity · Ticket holders
DAL
🎨
Bishop Arts District
South Dallas · Oak Cliff
Indie, bohemian neighborhood with strong Latin cultural presence. Excellent Mexican and Latin American restaurants. Quieter than Deep Ellum — right if you want to eat well and catch a match at a local bar rather than fight a crowd. Less tourist-facing, more local.
Best for: Latin American fans · Local culture · Quieter option

HOU #1
EaDo — FIFA Festival Hub
East Downtown · Near Shell Energy Stadium
The official FIFA Fan Festival Houston is here, and it's also Houston's existing soccer hub. Pitch 25 (owned by Dynamo legend Brian Ching) is steps away — indoor mini-pitch, 100+ beers on tap, and a crowd that actually knows the offside rule. Football Fiesta Houston extends World Cup energy into surrounding streets. METRORail Purple Line stops directly at Shell Energy Stadium. This is the correct first answer to "where do I go in Houston?"

🌏
Mahatma Gandhi District
Hillcroft / Southwest Houston
The largest South Asian commercial corridor in Texas. Indian, Pakistani, and regional restaurants and shops. A natural gathering point for South Asian fans. Farther from the stadium and festival — plan transport in advance, this area isn't on the METRORail.
Best for: South Asian fans · Authentic subcontinental food
HOU
🥐
The Heights
Northwest Inner Loop
Laid-back historic neighborhood with craft breweries and solid restaurants. Good for a relaxed match day if you want to avoid the downtown crowds entirely. No dedicated soccer bar here — this is a "watch it somewhere quiet" option, not a fan zone.
Best for: Relaxed atmosphere · Local feel · Away from crowds

Practical Advice

Fan Zone Tips

Make the most of the fan experience with these practical pointers.

📅
Book Tables Early
Top sports bars will be fully reserved weeks before major matches. As soon as you know your match dates, contact venues directly. Walk-ins will be very difficult for group stage matches involving popular nations.
🌡
Prepare for Heat
June–July in Texas means 95–105°F (35–40°C). Outdoor fan zones will be intense. Arrive hydrated, wear sunscreen, take breaks in air conditioning. Many venues have misting systems but it's still brutal.
🚗
Don't Drive to Fan Zones
Fan zones will have no parking and you'll be drinking. Use Uber/Lyft. On match days, order your return ride while at the venue — don't wait or you'll be stuck waiting 30+ minutes.
💳
Cash vs Card
Most bars and vendors accept cards. But carry $20–40 cash for street vendors, tips, and pop-up stalls. Some food trucks are cash-only. ATMs in busy areas have long queues on match days.
📱
Download the Apps
FIFA+ app for live streaming and festival info. Uber/Lyft for transport. Google Maps offline maps. Download everything before you need it — cell networks get congested at packed fan zones.
🎽
Wear Your Colors
Texans are welcoming to soccer fans from all nations. Wear your national jersey — you'll find fellow fans immediately. There's enormous goodwill toward international visitors throughout both cities.
